INDIANAPOLIS – University of Indianapolis duo junior midfielder August Abrahamsen and freshman goalkeeper Ionas Giovanidis have been selected as the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Players of the Week in men's soccer, it was announced by the league office Monday.

• Tallied three points on one goal and one assist in two conference victories
• Scored the game-winning goal in the 85^th minute against Rockhurst
• Had an assist in the 2-0 victory over William Jewell
• Took four shots with one on goal in 70 minutes
• Earns first career Offensive Player of the Week Award
