INDIANAPOLIS, IN - This upcoming weekend, the UIndy women's bowling team will open their season in Sterling Heights, MI, competing in the Midwest Collegiate Classic.
The format for the weekend will consist of six individual games on Saturday, while Sunday's format hosts 16 Baker games.
The Greyhounds return Emily Heldman from last year's inaugural season, who averaged 177.65 pins per game last season. Heldman also holds the record for the program's highest game total of 268.
UIndy also welcomes seven newcomers to the team this season, including senior transfer Sophia Meadows, who was an NCBCA Scholar Athlete last season with Missouri Valley College.
Competition for the field of 44 teams begins at 8:15 AM this Saturday, Oct. 4, at 5 Star Lanes.
