GAME 12
vs. Truman Bulldogs (8-3)
Playoffs, First Round
Saturday // November 22 // 2 p.m.
For the first time in program history, UIndy football is making a fourth consecutive trip to the Division II playoffs. The
No. 8 Greyhounds open the postseason by host fellow-GLVC-member Truman this weekend. Subscribers to ESPN+ will be able to watch the game live, while a free audio broadcast will be available on local radio at 88.7 FM and nationwide on
WICRonline.com.
UIndy will be serving as a first-round host for the first time since 2018. The Hounds are 2-10 all-time in DII postseason play overall but 2-2 at Key Stadium. A 2012 triumph against Midwestern State and an '18 win versus Fort Hays State represent the program's two postseason victories.
Super Region 3 top-seed and defending-national-champ Ferris State also earned hosting rites this weekend, as did No. 2-seed Findlay and fourth-seeded Ashland of the G-MAC. The SR3 field also includes a pair of NSIC teams in Minnesota Duluth and Minnesota State, as well as a third G-MAC team in Northwood.

UIndy owns an
12-1 all-time record versus Truman, including wins in each the last nine contests. They have hooked up every season since 2013, with this weekend marking their first meeting in the postseason. Back in September, UIndy came out on top at Truman,
30-20. The Greyhounds racked up more than 500 total yards and punted just once all afternoon. Running back
Juseters Fataki broke off at 67-yard rushing TD while TSU's Thomas Pulliam managed a 100-yard kickoff return—both in the third quarter.
