NEW CASTLE, Ind. — The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame recently recognized four UIndy women's basketball player alums who will be honored on Saturday, April 25, 2026. The UIndy alums; Amanda Davidson ('05), Amy (Wisser) Rohrer ('05), Erin Moran Maurer ('05), and Sara Riedeman ('06) will all receive recognition from the Indiana Basketball Hall Fame, after being named to the 2026 Women's Silver Anniversary Team. The Silver Anniversary Team recognizes players from the high school graduating class 25 years earlier; the 2026 Silver Anniversary team recognizes Indiana high school graduates from 2001.
FROM THE INDIANA BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME
Amanda Davidson averaged 12.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 2.6 steals as a senior in leading Brownsburg to a 21-4 season, a Hendricks County Tournament title, a Hoosier Crossroads Conference co-championship and a sectional crown for coach Mike Griffin. In four seasons, the 5-foot-8 guard totaled 642 points, 239 rebounds, a school-record 542 assists and 231 steals in 93 games for teams that went 77-17 with four county tournament banners and two sectional trophies.
Earlier, Davidson averaged 3.3 points, 1.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists as a freshman for the 18-5 Bulldogs, 5.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.1 steals for an 18-4 team as a sophomore and 5.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 4.0 steals for a 20-4 sectional winner as a junior. She holds school records for assists in a season (177 as a senior), assists in a game (14) and career starts (93). She was selected to the 2001 IndyStar Super Team, 2001 first- team all-HCC and two-time IndyStar first-team all-Metro West.
She matriculated to the University of Indianapolis, where she totaled 970 points, 383 rebounds, a school-record 619 assists and 148 steals in a school-record 121 games over four seasons for coach Teri Moren on teams that went 89-33, played in three NCAA Division II national tournaments and won the 2003 Great Lakes Valley Conference regular-season and tournament titles.
Davidson averaged 5.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists as a freshman for the 15- 11 Greyhounds. She netted 7.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 4.7 assists as a sophomore for a 29-3 team.
She tallied 8.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 6.1 assists as a junior for a 23-9 squad. She provided 10.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 6.3 assists as a senior for a 22-10 team. She led UIndy in assists all four seasons, twice was selected honorable mention all-GLVC and was named 2005 GLVC all-tournament. She also stands second and third on UIndy season lists for assists (196 as a junior, 194 as a senior), sixth in career 3-pointers (155) and scored a career-high 25 points against Quincy on March 6, 2005.
After earning a bachelor's degree from UIndy in 2005, Davidson played professional basketball for one season in Holland and 10 seasons in Germany. She was a 2006 All-Star in Holland, a 2007 German second-division champion, a 2011 German first-division regular- season champion, won three German first-division bronze medals and set records for season and career 3-point goals.
She began a career as a coach in Germany, guiding youth teams from 2007-13 and then Chemnitz first-division women's team from 2016-19. She was a volunteer assistant coach at UIndy in 2019-20, a Perry Meridian boys' assistant coach in 2020-21 and the Perry Meridian girls' head coach from 2021-25. She currently is in her first year as a math teacher and girls' basketball assistant coach at Brownsburg.
Davidson, who enjoys swimming, kayaking, water activities and time with family, was part of the 2002-03 UIndy team inducted as a team into UIndy Athletics Hall of Fame in 2016.
She and her wife, Karis, have two children – Veil and Willow.
Amy (Wisser) Rohrer stands eighth in Marion program history with 1,269 career points in 87 games for teams that went 48-40 while playing for coaches Tony Nukes and Ron Vermilion. The 5-foot-9 guard averaged 3.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists as a freshman for the 11-11 Giants. She netted 14.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists as a sophomore for a 10-12 team. She tallied 21.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists as a junior for a 14-7 squad. She provided 18.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists as a senior for a 13-10 team.
Wisser was selected 2001 AP high honorable mention All-State, 2000 AP honorable mention All-State, 2001 Grant County Player of the Year, three-time all-Grant County (1999 second team; 2000, 2001 first team), two-time first-team all-North Central Conference (2000, 2001) and played in the 2001 North/South Indiana All-Star Classic. She scored a career-high 38 points against Muncie Central on Jan. 29, 2000.
She matriculated to the University of Indianapolis, where she stands ninth with 1,409 career points while adding 386 rebounds, 201 assists and an .807 free throw percentage in 119 games over four seasons for coach Teri Moren on teams that went 89-33, played in three NCAA Division II national tournaments and won the 2003 Great Lakes Valley Conference regular-season and tournament titles.
Wisser averaged 9.2 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists as a freshman for the 15-11 Greyhounds. She provided 11.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists as a sophomore for a 29-3 team. She netted 10.9 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists as a junior for a 23-9 squad. She tallied 15.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists as a senior for a 22-10 team. She also holds school records for career free throws (528) and free throws in a game (17 against Quincy on Feb. 21, 2002).
She was selected 2005 second-team all-GLVC, 2003 honorable mention all-GLVC, MVP of the 2003 GLVC Tournament and two-time all-GLVC Tournament.
Wisser earned a bachelor's degree in business management and sports administration from UIndy in 2005. She was an intern for the Great Lakes Valley Conference in 2005, the Horizon League's assistant director of compliance and championships in 2005-06 and as a sales representative for Your Image Works from 2007-09. Since 2009, she has worked for the American Cancer Society, currently as senior director for its Coaches vs. Cancer program at the college level.
She was part of the 2002-03 UIndy team inducted as a team into UIndy Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016. Individually, she was inducted into Marion High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2022.
She and her husband, Dan, have two children – Samuel and Alexander.
Erin (Moran) Maurer stands sixth in Roncalli annals with 1,354 career points in 82 games for teams that went 52-35 and won one Indianapolis City Tournament for coach Bob Kirkhoff. The 5-9 forward averaged 13.9 points and 5.8 rebounds as a freshman for a 15-7 squad. She tallied 16.8 points and 4.0 rebounds as a sophomore for a 15-8 team. She netted 16.8 points and 7.0 rebounds as a junior for a 10-11 squad. She provided 18.7 points while shooting .895 on free throws as a senior for a 12-9 team.
Moran was selected 2001 AP high honorable mention All-State, 1999 all-City Tournament, two-time MCCGSA first-team all-Marion County, two-time MCCGSA first-team All-City, two-time team MVP and played in the 2001 North/South Indiana All-Star Classic. She scored a career-high 31 points against Mishawaka Marian on Dec. 22, 2000.
She went on to the University of Indianapolis, where she stands third in with 1,740 career points while adding 417 rebounds, 223 assists, 117 steals and a school-record 226 3-pointers in a school-record 121 games over four seasons for coach Teri Moren on teams that went 89-33, played in three NCAA Division II national tournaments and won the 2003 Great Lakes Valley Conference regular-season and tournament titles.
Moran averaged 14.2 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists as a freshman for the 15-11 Greyhounds. She netted 13.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists as a sophomore for a 29-3 team. She tallied 14.5 points and 3.1 rebounds as a junior for a 23-9 squad. She provided 15.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists as a senior for a 22-10 team. She scored a career-high 36 points against Oakland City on Dec. 4, 2004, a game in which set made a school-record eight 3-pointers.
She also holds the school record for season 3-point accuracy (.515 as a junior) while standing fourth in career field goals (651), fourth in career 3-point accuracy (.407), fourth in career free throw accuracy (.815), fifth and seventh for season 3-pointers (68 senior, 67 junior) and 10th for season free throw accuracy (.841 as freshman).
Moran earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from UIndy in 2005. She served as a Roncalli assistant coach from 2006-08 and worked at Roncalli as an administrative assistant from 2006-09. Since 2009, she has been an assistant director of Making Memories Daycare and Preschool in Indianapolis.
She was part of the 2002-03 UIndy team inducted as a team into UIndy Athletics Hall of Fame in 2016. She was inducted individually into the UIndy Athletics Hall of Fame in 2018.
She and her husband, Gary, have three children – Caleb, Hunter and Maddux.
Sara Riedeman totaled school records of 1,729 points and 304 steals while adding 345 assists in 88 games over four seasons for Greensburg teams that went 62-26 and won one Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference championship. She also set school records for career 3-point accuracy (.409), career free throw accuracy (.836), 44 points in a game (against Madison on Feb. 16, 2001) and eight 3-pointers in a game (against Hauser on Jan. 15, 2001, and also against Madison on Jan. 16, 2001).
Riedeman averaged 14.8 points, 3.0 assists and 2.7 steals as a freshman for a 14-7 team for coach Connie Dickman. The 5-foot-7 guard netted 14.6 points, 3.5 assists and 3.1 steals as a sophomore for a 12-10 squad. She provided 24.9 points, 4.0 assists and 3.9 steals as a junior for an 18-4 team for coach Danny Brown. Riedeman tallied 23.9 points, 5.0 assists and 4.0 steals as a senior for an 18-5 team for coach Rich Ballard.
A 2001 Indiana All-Star and 2000 Junior All-Star, she was selected 2001 ICGSA second-team All-State, two-time AP high honorable mention All-State, 2001 HBCA all-District 3, three-time all-sectional, four-time all-EIAC, four-time team MVP and played in the 2001 North/South Indiana All-Star Classic. She also was two-time Greensburg Daily News Player of the Year, four-time Daily News first-team All-Area, 2001 Columbus Republic Area Player of the Year and four-time Republic All-Area (1998 honorable mention; 1999, 2000, 2001 first team).
After high school, Riedeman played part of one season at Western Kentucky University. She then transferred to the University of Indianapolis, where she totaled 612 points, 138 rebounds, 68 assists, 81 steals and set a school record with a .442 career 3-point accuracy in 89 games over three seasons for teams that went 74-22 for teams that played in three NCAA Division II national tournaments for coach Teri Moren.
Riedeman averaged 3.0 points and 1.5 rebounds as a sophomore for a team that went 29-3 and won Great Lakes Valley Conference regular-season and GLVC Tournament titles. She tallied 7.5 points and 1.5 rebounds as a junior for a 23-9 squad. She provided 9.3 points and 1.7 rebounds as a senior for the 22-10 Greyhounds.
She earned a bachelor's degree in education from UIndy in 2006 and a master's degree in business administration from Ball State in 2023. She was an assistant coach at Indianapolis Bishop Chatard from 2005-08, posted a 68-28 record with three sectional titles and one regional title as girls' varsity coach at Roncalli from 2008-12 and was a women's assistant coach at Indiana State from 2012-16. She worked as a manager of insurance and senior services for Franciscan Health from 2017-23. Since 2023, she has been a broker/manager for Centene-Wellcare Indiana.
Riedeman, who was part of the 2002-03 UIndy team inducted as a team into UIndy Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016, currently serves on the UIndy Greyhound Club board. She also enjoys biking, exercising, gardening, attending sporting events and time with friends and family.
