UIndy Unveils 2025 Football Schedule

INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis officially released its 2025 football schedule Thursday. The Greyhounds have 11 regular-season games, as well as a bye week in late October. The equation is balanced by UIndy employing the relatively-new Week 0 option for NCAA Division II teams, traveling across town to face off against the Marian University Knights in the season opener.

Indianapolis' only two scholarship college football teams, the Greyhounds and Knights will open the '25 slate at Marian on Thursday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. Separated by just eight miles, the two programs have faced off only two previous times—first in 2015 and again in '16—in what has been dubbed the Monumental Matchup. The schedule yields two more non-conference contests, both featuring G-MAC opponents. The Greyhounds head to Ohio to face the University of Findlay in game No. 2 before hosting Ashland the following week for the home opener.

GLVC play starts the next week and continues through the rest of the regular season. Homecoming kicks off conference play on Sept. 20 when McKendree visits Key Stadium. Other home dates include Oct. 4 (William Jewell), Oct. 18 (Lincoln) and finally Senior Day on Nov. 15 (Upper Iowa).

The NCAA Division II playoffs begin with first-round action in Nov. 22 and run through the national championship game Dec. 20. Stay tuned to UIndyAthletics.com for ticket information.
