AUSTIN, Texas – UIndy swimming & diving student-athletes
Kirabo Namutebi,
Isabella Revstedt and
Celina Schmidt were named to the 2024-25 Academic All-America® Team, announced Tuesday. Selected annually by College Sports Communicators, the prestigious honor is bestowed on the country's top student-athletes for their combined performance in the pool and in the classroom.
Both Schmidt and Revstedt garnered first team laurels, while Namutebi earned third team accolades. Schmidt is the only repeat winner of the three, as she was included on the second team last season.
The trio combined a total of 13 All-America honors at the 2025 NCAA DII Championships, helping the Greyhounds to a fourth-place finish in the team standings. Revstedt and Namutebi made up half the Hounds' 200 free relay national title-twinning team, with the latter also part of the 200 medley relay champs. Individually, Namutebi was the national runner-up in the 50 free, Revstedt placed fifth in the 100 back, while Schmidt earned a first team nod in both the 100 (5th) and 200 breast (4th).
