NEW ORLEANS – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) released its annual academic awards this week, with UIndy collecting multiple team and individual accolades. Both the men's and women's squads were recognized on the All-Academic list, with 11 Greyhounds earning individual honors.
Both UIndy squads maintained the minimum 3.00 cumulative team GPA to be considered for the award. The UIndy women compiled a 3.51 team GPA, and the men's team earned recognition with a 3.27 team GPA.
Meanwhile, individual honorees needed a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 while also achieving an automatic or provisional qualifying mark (individual or relay event) during either the indoor or outdoor season. Greyhounds to make the cut on the women's side included; Audra Hogan, Hannah Dart, Mackenzie VanBibber, MaKenna Maschino, and Zoe Pentecost. They were joined by six Greyhounds on the men's squad, including;Â Alex Meyer, Cameron Smith, Cole Hurt, Felix Rivet, Josiah Adams, and Tom Saint-Juvin.Â
