NEW ORLEANS— Another week of competition means another USTFCCCA National Track and Field Rating Index (TFRI) Checkpoint, and the University of Indianapolis Men's Track and Field squad has reentered the top 10 at #9.
The Greyhounds combine for a total of 72.72 points in the TFRI. A total of 10 performances feed into the team's ranking with a new addition in the Distance Medley Relay team of Josue, Le Cadre, Lateef Mustafaa, Yanis Le Mouillour, and Felix Rivet, who ranks second nationally, contributing 20.87 points in the Hounds' ranking.
UIndy still stands as the highest-ranked GLVC team on the national list, with Missouri S&T sitting two spots behind the Greyhounds at #11.
Other national marks for the Hounds include: Le Cadre, Le Mouillour and Rivet in the 800m, Rivet and Le Cadre in the mile as well as Rivet in the 3000m. Three performances are listed in the field for the UIndy, with Alex Meyer ranked in both long and high jump, and Dylan Mayhew in the weight throw.
