INDIANAPOLIS— The University of Indianapolis track and field program competed in two meets over the weekend, with several Hounds staying in the Circle City while the French trio of Yanis Le Mouillour, Josue Le Cadre and Felix Rivet traveled to the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational.

The weekend was highlighted by a stellar performance by Le Cadre who clocked a 1:46.97 in the men's 800 invite. His time sets a new program record and establishes him as second on the NCAA DII all-time list for the indoor 800, less than a second off the Division II record.
Later that day, Rivet broke his previous record of 8:11.31 in the men's 3k, clocking a 7:58.51 in the race. The senior currently sits 11th on the national list in the men's 800m.
Heartland Invitational
UIndy secured three first-place finishes at the fairgrounds, highlighted by Alex Meyer's first-place finish in the men's long jump invitational with a leap of 7.43m. Alexander Schaevits secured the top spot in the high jump, clearing 1.98m, while Keywuan Taylor led the field in the pole vault, clearing the bar at 4.49m.
In the women's pole vault, the Hounds stole five of the top-10 spots, led by Elise Krodel with a height of 3.66m for a fourth-place finish. Mackenzie VanBibber also cleared 3.66m for a sixth-place finish, while Zoe Arvantis, Addision Wisner and Ann Elise Sloan all cleared the bar at3.56m for seventh, eighth and 10th place, respectively.
Freshman Savannah Danielson took third in the 3,000m with a time of 11:05.64, and Dylan Mayhew secured third in the men's weight with a toss of 18.82m. Mayhew was also the top Greyhound in the shot put with a throw of 16.17m to take fourth in the event.
