INDIANAPOLIS – The four-time reigning GLVC champion UIndy football team announced the addition of seven transfers to its current spring roster. Lee Alexander (The Citadel), Kevin Ford (Eastern Kentucky), Nolan Olson (Bemidji State), Carlos Orea (Chadron State), Nick Patterson (Saginaw Valley), Chandler Weston (Illinios Weslyan), Logan Young (Texas College) will all wear the Crimson & Grey starting this semester.

LEE ALEXANDER
LB  | 6-0 | 225 | Indianapolis, IN | Warren Central HS | The Citadel
- Played in 15 games across two years at The Citadel
- Totaled 14 tackles for the Bulldogs in 2025, while recording one sack and one interception.
- Made first collegiate sack against Ole Miss.
- Earned 2022 IFCA Top 50 All State honors at local Warren Central HS 
- Also named to the 2022 Indy Star Central Indiana Super Team and IndyStar All-Marion County First Team

KEVIN FORD
CB | 6-0 | 175 | Indianapolis, IN | Warren Central HS | Eastern Kentucky
- Appeared in 15 games over two seasons at DI Eastern Kentucky.
- Also spent two years at St. Francis University. making 21 total tackles, five pass break-ups and two interceptions. 

NOLAN OLSON
DT | 6-2 | 275 | Sun Prairie, WI | Sun Prairie East HS | Bemidji State
- Rotational piece on the defensive line for in-region Bemidji State in 2025, making 19 tackles, 4.5 TFLs and 3.5 sacks. 
- Earned WIAA Large School All-State Honorable Mention as a high school senior.
- Also garnered 2022 Large-4 All-Region Team and Badger Large Conference First Team accolades.

CARLOS OREA
OL | 6-2 | 315 | Los Angeles, CA | Manual Arts HS | Chadron State
- Made nine starts on Chadron State's nationally-ranked playoff team in 2025.
- Also spent time at Santa Monica College, earning JCGridiron.com All-American Fourth Team and Region IV All-California First Team honors. 
- Four-sport athlete in high school, competing in football, basketball, volleyball, and tennis. 

NICK PATTERSON
QB | 6-2 | 225 | Mooresville, IN | Mooresville HS | Saginaw Valley
- Rushed for five touchdowns with DII Saginaw Valley as a redshirt-freshman in 2025, finishing the season with 169 rushing yards on 32 carries as well as 88 yards passing yards and a TD. 
- Voted 2022 IFCA Top 50 All-State at nearby Mooresville High School
- Also garnered Indiana Preps Big School All-State Top 22 and Mid-State Conference Offensive Player of the Year as a senior, racking up 3,368 total yards and 38 total TDs. 

CHANDLER WESTON
CB | 6-0 | 175 | Fishers, IN | Hamilton Southeastern HS | Illinois Wesleyan
- Played in six games as a freshman for Illinois Wesleyan in 2025, recording a pair of pass break-ups. 
- Earned 2024 IFCA 6A Senior All-State and All-Hoosier Crossroads Conference selections as a senior at local Hamilton Southeastern High School.
- Also a member of HSE's 4x100 state championship relay as a junior.

LOGAN YOUNG
K | 5-10 | 150 | Indianapolis, IN | Pike HS | Texas College
- Played in six contests at Texas College in 2025, going 7-for-8 on extra points.
- 2024 All-Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference at local Pike High School
- Also named 2024 MIC Scholar Athlete and Academic All-State
- Four-year letter winner in football and baseball.
