The Greyhounds were back at it with quick starts from its attack, scoring the game's first five goals, and 10 of the 14 goals in the first half. Fornek scored a first quarter hat trick for the first time in her career, and is only the second time she's recorded a first half hat trick in her career. Of its 10 first half goals, five of them came on woman-up situations, its most in a half this season.

But it was her defense that contributed to Iman's success on Sunday, causing a season high 15 turnovers, including a career-best five from Michielin. Amanda Hurry, Mariah Whitfield and Reese Fahlke all caused two of their own as well.
Leading by six after 30 minutes, the Greyhounds put together an almost flawless third quarter, scoring seven goals, while allowing none from the Hawks on only two shots.
