INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy men's soccer team, was voted to finish fifth in the 2026 GLVC men's soccer preseason coaches' poll, the league office announced on Wednesday. 

The preseason poll is selected by the league's head coaches, who, per GLVC Bylaws, are not permitted to vote for their own team.

The Greyhounds closed their 2025 campaign with an 11-6-3 record after making it to the second round of the national tournament. En-route to their national tournament appearance the Hounds led the conference in goals and possessed a record of 8-4-2 in conference play to secure the fourth seed in the GLVC tournament. Their 11 wins and national tournament appearance marked the third season out of head coach Gabe Hall's four seasons that the Greyhounds have reached 10 wins and a national tournament berth.

Hall enters his fifth season returning six starters and four players who totaled over 1,000 minutes in 2025, including All-Region selection Joey Longo who led the team in starts, starting all 20 matches last season. Additionally, 14 newcomers have joined the fold with five coming from the Division I ranks.

UIndy will kick off their season on the road on Aug. 27 against Cedarville in the 10th all-time meeting between the two programs and the first under Hall.
