The Greyhounds host the Bulldogs in a rematch of last year's first-round playoff contest. The top two teams in the
GLVC Preseason Coaches Poll, both squads enter the weekend at 1-3 hungry to generate some momentum heading into October.
UIndy owns a
13-1 all-time record versus Truman, including wins in each the last 10 contests. The conference rivals have hooked up every season since 2013, including the teams' first-ever postseason meeting last November. After pulling out a
30-20 win at Truman in the regular season, UIndy orchestrated an impressive
57-14 home victory over the Bulldogs in the first-round of the 2025 playoffs. The result netted a number of postseason records for the Hounds, including most points scored (57), most passing yards (339), most total offensive yards (481), highest completion percentage (.773) and most field goals made (3).
This Saturday's festivities will also include a "Mascot Night" promotion. UIndy will welcome a number of local sports masctos to Key Stadium, including Bandit from the Fishers Freight, Nitro from the Indy Fuel and Rowdy from the Indianapolis Indians.
