Veteran cornerback returns to the Greyhound defensive backfield for his senior season in 2016 after earning the full-time starting job a season ago.

Voted All-GLVC Second Team after starting all 12 games at corner … ranked first on the squad with 11 pass breakups and fourth with 51 total tackles … opened the season with a pair of pass breakups versus Saginaw Valley (9/3P) … twice reached a season high of eight tackles – versus Southwest Baptist (9/19) and at McKendree (10/10) … collected his first career interception at William Jewell (10/31), picking off a pass in the end zone and returning it 89 yards to set up Greyhounds TD … also garnered an INT at Saint Joseph’s in the regular-season finale (11/14) … earned inclusion in the team’s One-Play Warrior Club, a point-based honor which measures production on special teams.

Saw time in nine games, including making four starts at cornerback in the absence of the injured Josh Bass (3 games) and Andre Smith (1 game) … part of a unit that ranked third in Division II in passing defense (139.5 ypg), 11th in total defense (291.5 ypg) and 13th in scoring defense (17.7 ppg) … finished with 20 total tackles and five pass break-ups … amassed five tackles and a pass break-up at Quincy (10/4) in his first collegiate start … compiled a career-high six tackles versus McKendree (10/11) … had a pair of pass break-ups at Truman State (10/18) … earned inclusion in the team’s One-Play Warrior Club, a point-based honor which measures production on special teams.
