2008 Game-by-Game Statistics

2007: Played in just two games before falling victim to injury, wiping out the rest of his football season ... had three total tackles, including a nine-yard sack in the season-opening win vs. Northern Michigan ... held down the 285-lb. starting spot for the Greyhound wrestling team ... advanced to the NCAA Division II National tournament after finishing runner-up at the Midwest Regional held at Nicoson Hall on campus.

2006:  Played in eight games … tallied 12 total tackles - seven solo - in sophomore season … registered a career-best five tackles versus national-power Grand Valley State, including one for a six-yard loss (10/14).

2005:  Freshman linebacker played in eight games … notched four total tackles for the season, all in three consecutive games (10/15-10/29).

Personal:  Majoring in exercise science … earned an academic honors diploma from Avon High School … also made National Honors Society … son of Randy and Becky Panko … born 7/26/86.

High School:  Two-sport standout in football and wrestling … garnered all-conference accolades all four years as a gridder … three-time member of all-state squad … tallied 464 total tackles as a prep … two-time semi-state champion wrestler … won state championship in the 215 lb weight class by going 49-0 with 27 pins as a senior.
