EVANSVILLE, Ind.- The Greyhound men's soccer team dropped its record to 5-5-3 overall and 4-3-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with an 0-1 loss at Southern Indiana Friday evening. With the win, Southern Indiana improves to 6-8-0 overall, and 3-6-0 in conference play.
USI scored the game-winner just more than six minutes into the match. Tyree Robinson tallied his fourth goal of the season with the score on a ball from Simon Rawnsley.
Overall, the Greyhounds took 13 shots in the match, while the Screamin' Eagles took 12. UIndy had seven corner kick chances while USI had three.
Diego Lemus led the Hounds with three shots on the night, while
Brian Fishback (pictured) and
Andrew Jones each had two.
Justin Roberts made the start at keeper for the Hounds, making four saves in his 90 minutes of work. He allowed the lone Southern Indiana goal in his complete game effort.
UIndy stays on the road, heading to Kentucky Wesleyan for a Sunday GLVC contest.
