INDIANAPOLIS- The Greyhounds' Matt Royer has been named the GLVC's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for his two NCAA provisional marks at Purdue last weekend.

The Greyhound senior posted marks in both the men's hammer throw and the shot put at Purdue's Mike Poehlien Invitational. Royer won the hammer throw with a toss of 65.62 meters, and took third in the shot put with a mark of 16.91 meters.

This is the first week for the outdoor version of the GLVC Field Athlete of the Week award. Royer won the indoor award three times already this season.

UIndy heads to Bellarmine this weekend for the Knights' Bellarmine Track and Field Invitational.
