ALLENDALE, Mich.- The Greyhound track and field squads put up four more NCAA provisional marks on the weekend, in a trio of Last Chance meets prior to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships May 24-26.
The women's 4x100-meter team of Lauren Rascoe, LaTisha Martin, Kenya Owens and Angelique McNeal posted an NCAA provisional mark in its race, with a time of 47.00.
Robert Gardner also put up a provisional mark, in the men's 400-meter dash. Gardner took second in the race with a time of 47.44, his fastest of the season in the event, and 16th-best in the nation right now.
Randall Hudi earned his first NCAA mark of the season, with a jump of 7.46 meters in the long jump. The mark is the 11th-best in NCAA DII currently.
Jacob Aldrich also put up his first NCAA mark of the year, with a provisional toss of 4.81 meters in the pole vault at the Louisville Cardinal Twilight. Aldrich's throw is good for 20th-best in Division II this year.
The national meet will take place in Pueblo, Colo., at the Neta and Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl.
