LOUISVILLE- After 110 minutes of soccer, UIndy and Bellarmine men's soccer fought to a 1-1 draw in Great Lakes Valley Conference play Sunday afternoon.

UIndy (3-5-1; 2-3-1 GLVC) struck first, with Paul Scheipeter tallying the first goal of his collegiate career at the 11:58 mark. Scheipeter scored off of a free kick from about 20 yards, into the bottom right corner of the frame.

The Knights (4-2-1; 3-1-1 GLVC) evened the match at 1-1 with a Justin Klenke score in the 35th minute. Klene redirected a Jordan Beckles shot into the top right corner of the net.

With the Greyhounds playing down a man from the 37th minute on, neither team could find the back of the net in the second half, forcing overtime.

Bellarmine out-shot UIndy 23-8 in the match, with Scheipeter leading the Greyhounds with four shots. Andrew Verhonik netted eight saves on the day in earning the draw in goal.

The Greyhounds host Kentucky Wesleyan and Southern Indiana to continue GLVC play next Friday and Sunday.
