INDIANAPOLIS- The Greyhound men's soccer team fell 5-1 to visiting Southern Indiana to close out a weekend of Great Lakes Valley Conference play at Key Stadium Sunday.

Four goals from Jeffrey McClure sent UIndy (4-6-1; 3-4-1 GLVC) away with the loss Sunday. McClure scored the final four Southern Indiana (7-3-0; 6-2-0 GLVC) goals of the contest, putting balls  in the back of the net in the 33rd, 54th, 66th and 70th minutes.

The Greyhounds got their score in the 58th minute, with Reid Strain scoring on a long ball sent forward from Paul Scheipeter. The goal was Strain's ninth of the year.

Strain's five shots led UIndy, while Matt Franco and Scheipeter each got off three. Andrew Verhonik made six saves in the loss in goal for the Greyhounds.

UIndy continues GLVC play on the road next weekend, heading to Quincy and Illinois Springfield Friday and Sunday.
