ROLLA, Mo. – The UIndy softball team extended its winning streak to four with wins of 1-0 and 8-2 at Missouri S&T Saturday. The Greyhounds (9-5, 2-0 GLVC) got an amazing 17-strikeout performance from sophomore

Â
GAME 1
Foley (5-3) fanned the first eight batters of the game on the way to a season-high 17 strikeouts. Mrogan, who K'd 18 batters in a game last season, also surrendered just one hit – a third-inning single – for the second time in as many starts.   The Louisville, Ky., native has not allowed a run in 19 consecutive innings pitched.
                      Â
The Greyhounds plated their one and only run in the second inning. Sophomore
Jenny Thompson started the frame with a single and later can around on a two-out triple by senior
Cori Eckerle.
Â
GAME 2
The Hounds needed just one hit to score the game's first four runs, as three first-inning errors by the Miners (3-8, 2-4) put the home team in an early 4-0 hole.
Â
The UIndy bats came alive after that, as junior
Casey Williamson, junior
Taylor Russell and junior
Samantha Krcelich all went yard. Williamson's was a two-run shot, while the other two were of the solo variety.
Â
Senior pitcher
Morgan Lewis upped her record to 4-2 with the complete-game win. She struck out four batters in seven innings while only one of her two runs allowed was earned.
Â
The Greyhounds continue conference play with a doubleheader at Drury. The twin bill has been moved to Monday, however, to avoid poor forecasted weather conditions on Sunday. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET.
