WACO, Texas – With each of the nation's top 12 teams winning last weekend, the undefeated UIndy football team (6-0, 4-0 GLVC) remained at No. 10 in the AFCA Division II Coaches Poll, released Monday. The Greyhounds are one of 16 unbeaten teams remaining in the top 25 after rolling over visiting Quincy Saturday,
59-19.
The number of unbeatens from Super Region Three was cut to five over the weekend after then-No. 13 Pittsburg State and then-No. 24 Truman both lost. Ferris State (No. 2) from the GLIAC, Ouachita Baptist (5) from the GAC and Northwest Missouri State (7) and Central Missouri (14) from the MIAA remain perfect through week six.
Meanwhile, the Hounds made their 32nd straight appearance in the coaches' top 25, upping their own program record for consecutive time spent in the national rankings.
