ORLANDO – The UIndy men's golf team (288-302-296) competed in its final tournament of the calendar year this week, taking fifth place at the 14-team McDonough Cup, held at Rio Pinar Country Club in Orlando, Fla., Monday and Tuesday.

Three Greyhounds notched top-20 finishes, including senior
Erik Edwards. The Louisville, Ky., paced the Greyhounds for the fourth time in five fall events, posting a 54-hole score of +5. He carded back-to-back 72s before a third-round 77 moved him back to a tie for 12th.

Spencer Klimek (72-77-73) and
Ian Carroll (71-75-76) shared 17th place, with Carroll's first-round 71 good for one of two red numbers posted by the Hounds. The other came from junior
Oliver Mast (78-78-70), as he capped his week with a two-under 70 to move into a tie for 32nd. Sophomore
Cam Carroll (73-78-79) rounded out the UIndy lineup by sharing 44th at +14.

Host Rollins College took the team title, led by individual medalist Morgan Egloff (70-70-68).
