WACO, Texas – The undefeated UIndy football team (5-0, 3-0 GLVC) moved up yet again in the AFCA Division II Coaches Poll, coming in at No. 10 this week. Coming off a
59-7 rout at William Jewell over the weekend, the Greyhounds earned a top-10 spot for the first time since the final regular season poll of 2017.
Â
After starting the year at No. 16 in the preseason poll, the Hounds have moved up each of the last five weeks. This week's bump was aided by a home loss by Grand Valley State, who fell in dramatic fashion to Ashland, 20-17. UIndy is now one of seven undefeated teams remaining in Super Region Three, including GLVC rival and poll newcomer, No. 24 Truman.
Â
In addition, the Greyhounds made their 31st straight appearance in the coaches' top 25, upping their own program record for consecutive time spent in the national rankings.
