INDIANAPOLIS – The GLVC announced their postseason awards Thursday night at the conference's banquet ahead of Friday's semifinal action in Jeffersonville. The UIndy men's soccer team had five players recognized for their efforts on the field this season.
 
Leading the Greyhounds were two players being named first-team all-GLVC. Seniors Javier Steinwascher and Ben Rohder were voted as two of the conference's best players by GLVC coaches. Steinwascher led the Greyhounds this season with 11 goals, five of them being game-winners. The senior captain was tied for first in the nation in assists with 14 helpers this season, leading the country in assists per game at .93 per game.
 
Fellow senior captain Ben Rohder was also voted to the conference's first-team. The senior from Orland Park, Ill., started in every game he appeared in this season for UIndy. Rohder scored four goals in his final collegiate season for the Greyhounds this season, finishing second on the team with two game-winners in 2019.
