ASHLAND, Ohio – Two members of the UIndy men's soccer team were recognized by the Division-II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Wednesday. Javier Steinwascher was named first-team all-region while junior Vincent Stone was named second-team all-region. The awards were nominated and voted upon by regional sports information directors.
 
Steinwascher was a first-team all-GLVC selection last week. The senior captain led the team in goals this year while being tied for first in the nation in assists. The second-team award for Stone is also his second postseason award. The outside back from Argos, Ind., was also a second-team all-GLVC selection last week.
 
Aside from Steinwascher, the GLVC had five other first-team selections by the D2CCA. Steinwascher, Stone, and the rest of the Greyhounds take on Fort Hays State Thursday afternoon in their first round NCAA tournament matchup.
