INDIANAPOLIS – UIndy men's lacrosse senior goalkeeper
Jarod Kimble was named the GLVC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance between the pipes last Saturday afternoon, the league announced on Monday.
Â
It is the first GLVC defensive weekly honor since
Kenny Keyes last April. Kimble earned ECAC Defensive Player of the Week laurels as a freshman in 2016, the only season UIndy was a member of the conference.
Â
The Rochester, N.Y. product made 12 saves in the overtime thriller, stopping double-digit shots for the 10th time in his career.
Â
Kimble also picked up a game-high 10 ground balls in the win, while causing one Seton Hill turnover.
Â
The No. 10 Greyhounds are back in action this coming Saturday at Key Stadium.
