ROMEOVILLE, Ill.— The University of Indianapolis men's lacrosse team will face Lewis for the second time this season in the opening round of the 2026 GLVC Tournament.
UIndy leads the series between the two squads, 6-4, but the Flyers have claimed the last three contests. The Hounds fell to the Flyers in at Key in their first meeting of 2026. Senior Nick Luitwieler had his first hat-trick of the season, while Amadeo Miller also recorded two goals in the match. Keeper AJ Preachuk had 14 saves between the pipes, and Brayden Arnett scooped up a season-high seven ground balls.
The Greyhounds rank first in the GLVC in three statistical categories: face-off win percentage (.650), ground balls per game (38.62), and scoring defense, allowing an average of 7.88 goals per game.
The Hounds' First Team All-GLVC honoree, Alec Score, ranks sixth nationally in caused turnovers per game, averaging 2.75 to place him atop the conference in the category.
Tanner Hahm sits atop the GLVC and ranks 14th in Division II in assists per game, averaging 2.17 per game, with a total of 31 throughout the Hounds' 13 contests.
Jonah Koehler has led the FOGOs in the regular season with a faceoff win percentage of .655, placing him first in the conference and 13th nationally.
