GREENWOOD, Ind. - For the second time in program history, the UIndy men's lacrosse team has an Academic All-American.

Alec Score, who recently wrapped up his sophomore season, was voted to the CSC Academic All-America® Second Team, announced Wednesday. Score follows Triston Schaffer, who earned the award in 2025.

Anchoring one of the nation's top defensive units, Score earned USILA All-America Third Team, USILA All-Region Second Team, and All-GLVC First Team distinction this spring. The Plymouth, Minn., native set the new program single-season record in caused turnovers (39) and already ranks sixth in the category for a Greyhound career.

UIndy now has 182 Academic All-Americans in its department's history and Score's selection now marks the sixth straight year there have been double-digit Greyhounds honored by the organization.
