Jordan McKenzie earned his first weekly accolade as a Greyhounds.

The New Westminster, British Columbia product caused three turnovers this past Saturday in the week over No. 8 Mercyhurst, including one on the Lakers' penultimate possession of the game. McKenzie scooped up six ground balls in the win, doubling his season total to 12.

The Marquette transfer joins senior keeper
Jarod Kimble as Hounds to be named the GLVC Defensive Player of the Week this season. A year ago, three Greyhounds were recognized by the league on a weekly basis for their efforts on the defensive end.

The Hounds are back in action this coming Saturday when they host Young Harris for the GLVC opener.
