PERRY, N.Y. – The UIndy men's lacrosse team continues its rise in the USILA rankings on Monday afternoon, jumping from ninth to sixth after its 11-9 win over No. 8 Mercyhurst this past Saturday.

This marks the third straight week the Greyhounds have recorded their highest ranking in program history.

UIndy limited the Mercyhurst offense to just two goals in the second half, fueling the comeback to its second top-10 victory of the season. The Hounds knocked off No. 3 Seton Hill in overtime back on February 16.

Drew Billig and
Parker Kump each have 11 goals this season, while
Jarod Kimble has posted a .537 save percentage in goal. On the faceoff,
Robbie Berardi has won 66.7 percent of the time inside the circle, with
Josh Jackson and
Jordan McKenzie each pace the Greyhound defense with seven caused turnovers.

UIndy opens GLVC play this Saturday against Young Harris. The Hounds toppled the Mountain Lions in the inaugural conference tournament game a season ago at Key Stadium.
