PERRY, N.Y. - UIndy men's lacrosse faceoff specialist
Robbie Berardi was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Team of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.
The Strongsville, Ohio native earned distinction after securing 20-of-24 (83.3%) faceoff attempts at Maryville over the weekend, leading the Greyhound attack to 14 goals. The junior also scooped up 14 ground balls, while causing one turnover. On the season, Berardi has won 72.2 percent of chances at the X and has grabbed 94 ground balls.Â
It is the fourth time this season, and fifth Greyhound overall, to earn Team of the Week honors from the organization. Senior
Parker Kump as been recognized on three occasions, while freshman
Erich Wiitala was named once.Â
