INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy men's lacrosse team jumped three spots in this week's NCAA South regional rankings, now slotted in the No. 3 spot.

Last week, the Greyhounds premiered at No. 6, the first time the program has appeared in the regional poll.

UIndy is 12-1 this season and riding a seven-game winning streak as it heads into the second annual GLVC Championship Tournament this weekend. The Hounds rounded out the 2019 league campaign with a perfect 6-0 mark after topping Rockhurst last Friday in overtime, 12-11. The top six teams in each region advance to the NCAA tournament.

Parker Kump leads the Greyhounds with 62 points, while freshman
Drew Billig ranks second on the squad with 38.
Robbie Berardi has been excellent on the faceoff, securing 70.5 percent of his attempts. Goalkeeper
Jarod Kimble had a remarkable conference season, saving 54.7 percent of shots he faced.
