Belobrajdic Hauls in T.O.W. Honors

PERRY, N.Y. - After earning All-GLVC First-Team accolades over the weekend, junior defender Jack Belobrajdic was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Team of the Week on Tuesday afternoon just as the regular season is coming to a close.

The O'Fallon, Ill. product led a Greyhound defense that was instrumental in the team claiming its second straight Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) championship. Belobrajdic totaled seven ground balls and three caused turnovers in the pair of GLVC tournament games at Key Stadium, including five scoops in the title tilt against No. 14 Rockhurst. The 5-11 defender caused a pair of turnovers on Friday against Montevallo, as the Greyhounds limited the Falcons to just three goals through the first three quarters.

Belobrajdic is the fourth different Greyhound to be recognized on the USILA Team of the Week this season, and it is the fifth time overall in 2019 at least one UIndy player has been listed. It is the first of his career.

The fourth-ranked Greyhounds head down to No. 1 Limestone this Saturday for the regular season finale.
