INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA announced the qualifiers for the upcoming NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships Tuesday, with six UIndy student-athletes appearing on the list. Lauren Bailey (5000), Mary Costello (pole vault), Austin Hogan (shot put, hammer throw, discus), Katie Monk (shot put, hammer throw, discus), Hilary Paxson (hammer throw) and Mickayla Wenzel (1500) will all be making the trip to Kingsville, Texas and Javelina Stadium for the national meet, scheduled for May 23-25.

Hogan is the only one in the bunch with an outdoor All-America honor to his credit. The hometown product was the national runner-up in the discus last May and is a three-time All-American overall (indoor and outdoor).
 
Paxson and Monk placed second and third, respectively, in the weight throw at indoor nationals in February. Bailey made her debut at nationals that same meet, while sophomore Mary Costello and senior Mickayla Wenzel will both be making their first-ever appearance on the national stage.
