BALTIMORE – Three from UIndy men's lacrosse will end their careers in style as United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-America recipients.

Matthew Johnson (honorable mention) and
Shawn Kimble (honorable mention), along with attacker
Parker Kump (third team) have been named All-Americans at their respective positions after leading the Greyhounds to a program-best 16 wins and national semifinal appearance.

Jarod Kimble, who was named the program's first All-American in 2017.

Kump earned third-team honors after posting 83 points during his senior campaign, including 61 goals and 22 assists. The Surrey, British Columbia product scooped up 37 ground balls on the attack, while also scoring 10 extra-man opportunity (EMO) goals. The senior finishes his career with 211 points, and has been named to an all-conference team three times.

Kump will compete in the USILA All-Star Game tomorrow in Sparks, Md. at 7:30 p.m.

Johnson also capped his career with the best season of his UIndy tenure, scoring 35 goals and handing out 21 assists. The middie recorded 42.4 percent of his career points in 2019, while picking up 24 ground balls. Johnson scored a career-high six goals in the NCAA quarterfinal win at Belmont Abbey on May 11.

Kimble scored a career-high 29 goals as a senior, finishing with 44 points in 2019 and 141 in his career. The Rochester, N.Y. native notched the Greyhounds' win over third-ranked Seton Hill with his overtime winner. Kimble scooped up 17 ground balls, while scoring four EMO goals.
