Men's Lax Ranked Fourth in Final USILA Poll

PERRY, N.Y. - After ending the historic fourth season in program history at the NCAA national semifinal, the UIndy men's lacrosse team finishes at No. 4 in the final United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) coaches poll that was released on Tuesday. The Greyhounds dropped their semifinal bout at Limestone, who was undefeated and ranked atop NCAA Division II at the time before falling to Merrimack in the national championship game.

UIndy went 16-3 in 2019, including a 7-3 mark against top-15 opponents. The only losses came at the hands of Belmont Abbey - who the Greyhounds defeated in the NCAA quarterfinal - and twice to Limestone. The Greyhounds earned its highest-ranked win ever on February 16 when Shawn Kimble netted an overtime winner at No. 3 Seton Hill.

Fourth matches the highest ranking in program history, and first time since April 29 after UIndy claimed its second straight GLVC title.

Le Moyne and Adelphi round out the top five.
