PERRY, N.Y. - After suffering just its second loss of the 2019 campaign, the UIndy men's lacrosse dropped to No. 6 in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) poll that was announced on Monday morning. The Greyhounds are now 14-2 this season, and received a bid to the NCAA tournament in just their fourth season.Â
UIndy was selected as the third seed in the NCAA South Regional on Sunday evening and will host Queens University of Charlotte on Wednesday at 4 p.m. from Key Stadium. It will be first-ever battle between the Greyhounds and Royals on the lacrosse field.Â
Limestone and Belmont Abbey, who rank atop the South Region, are first and fifth, respectively. The winner between UIndy and Queens will hit the road to Belmont Abbey for a regional semifinal tilt on Saturday afternoon.
