Hogan Caps Career with Third Academic All-America® Nod

AUSTIN, Texas – UIndy student-athlete Austin Hogan was named to the 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-America® Division II Track & Field First Team, announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Thursday. Hogan becomes just the sixth Greyhound in history to become a three-time honoree and just the second with three first-team nods.

A native of Indianapolis, Hogan joins UIndy's exclusive list of three-time Academic All-Americans, including Scott Riggle (1997-99), Erin Archer (1999-2001), Megan Grunert (2002-04), Maura Donahue (2011-13), Katharina Keilich (2017-19). Only Hogan and Riggle can claim three first-team laurels.

Hogan is also the seventh Hound to earned AAA honors this past academic year. See below for the complete list.

All told, Hogan amassed seven All-America awards in his time at UIndy, setting a program record for most career All-America honors in the throws and most individual All-America performances overall.
