FINDLAY, Ohio  – The UIndy men's golf team (295-296-301) took sixth place of 18 teams at the region-heavy Doc Spragg Fall Invitational, hosted at Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio, Monday and Tuesday. A pair of Greyhounds placed in the top 20 at the 36-hole event, as senior

Ian Carroll shared 12th place.

Edwards shot back-to-back 71s to start the tournament, while Carroll carded UIndy's lowest round of the event with a first-round 70. Both Greyhounds settled at +4 for the tournament, good for a top-15 finish among the 90-man field.

Senior
Spencer Klimek (74-77-73) tied for 30th place at +8, followed by a trio of Hounds in 38th:
Oliver Mast (75-76-76),
Cam Carroll (75-72-80) in 38th and
Jacob Nickell (75-78-74).

Wayne State (+8) edged host Findlay (+9) for the team title, while WSU's Brendan Seys (69-69-71) took the individual medal by three strokes.
