BALTIMORE, Md. – After a historic 2019 season, which ended in the DII national semifinal, the UIndy men's lacrosse team will begin the 2020 campaign with its highest United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) preseason ranking in program history at No. 8.

The Greyhounds were tabbed as high as fourth a year ago after finishing the season at 16-3. Over the course of the 2019 season, UIndy defeated ranked programs such as Seton Hill (No. 3), Belmont Abbey (5), Mercyhurst (8), Queens (13), Rockhurst (13 and 14) and Lindenwood (14). Two of the team's three losses came at top-ranked Limestone, with the other defeat at the hands of then-No. 11 Belmont Abbey.

Head coach
Greg Stocks, who began the UIndy men's lacrosse program in 2016, returns for his fifth season. Sophomore
Drew Billig, recently named USILA Preseason All-America, posted 57 points on 33 goals and 24 assists.
Parker Johnson (45 points) and
Brian Robb (35) are also back for the Greyhound attack.

Jordan McKenzie (44 ground balls, 26 caused turnovers) returns on the UIndy back line, with fellow teammates
Jack Belobrajdic (52 GB) and
Josh Jackson (20 CT) joining the Marquette transfer.

UIndy begins its season on Feb. 9 in Kansas City, Mo., when it takes on Westminster at 12 p.m.
