LAS VEGAS – The UIndy men's golf team opened its spring schedule this week at the Warrior Vegas Invite. The Greyhounds combined to shot +5 at the 36-hole event, finishing two back of host Winona State. The 12-team tournament was held at Stallion Mountain Golf Club.
UIndy (297-284) entered the final round tied for the lead and shot four-under on the day, but the Warriors managed a team score of -6 to capture the team trophy.
Two Hounds finished under par for the tournament, as
Oliver Mast and
Erik Edwards shared the runner-up spot at -3.
Ian Carroll carded a team-low 69 on Tuesday to take 12th, and
Spencer Klimek (76-74) finished one back of him in 13th.
Cam Carroll (81-76) rounded out the lineup players by sharing 34th, while
Jacob Nickell (78-78) tied for 32nd.
