INDIANAPOLIS – UIndy men's golf head coach
Brent Nicoson is pleased to announce the addition of Keegan Bronnenberg to his 2020-21 roster. The grad transfer and former Ball State No. 1 will join the Greyhounds with two years of eligibility remaining.

Bronnenberg comes to the Circle City after a remarkable stint with the Cardinals. The Muncie, Ind., native etched his name near the top of his hometown school's record book, compiling the second-best single-season scoring average in program history this past season (72.61). He was named the MAC Player of the Week back in October after a third-place finish at Xavier's tournament.
Additionally, his efforts helped Ball State earn a Golfweek ranking of No. 20 this past fall, good for the school's best-ever position in the national poll.
"It's great for our program to have an impact player like Keegan joining us," said Nicoson. "He brings a great work ethic with him and knows how to win tournaments. He has the ability to go low, and we look forward to having him wearing the Flying I logo."
With a bachelor's degree from BSU in tow, Bronnenberg comes to UIndy with two full years of eligibility yet to spend. He'll join a Greyhound squad already loaded with talent, highlighted by the welcome return of seniors
Erik Edwards and
Spencer Klimek.
"With the great news of Erik and Spencer both returning by taking advantage of the NCAA fifth-year ruling (due to COVID-19) in combination with our other solid returners, we were already excited about the upcoming season. The bonus of having a player like Keegan only adds to the high expectations for next season."
As a prep, Bronnenberg was a three-time state qualifier at Muncie Central High School, notching two top-six performances at the IHSAA State Tournament. He twice won sectional and regional titles as an individual, while also earning Indiana Junior Golf Program Player of the Year honors in both 2015 and 2016.
Keegan is the son of Michael and Kami Bronnenberg and has a younger sister named Makennah. The former Academic All-MAC selection will work toward a Master of Science in Business Analytics at UIndy.
