ORLANDO, Fla. – The UIndy men's golf team (292-279-293) wrapped up competition this fall semester with a fifth-place finish at the McDonough Cup, held Monday and Tuesday at Rio Pinar Country Club in Orlando, Fla. Two Greyhounds notched top-10 performances among a field that featured a number of talented southern schools.

One of five competing teams receiving votes in the most recent DII coaches poll, the Greyhounds highlighted their week with a second-round 279. Fifth-year senior
Oliver Mast led the surge with a six-under 66—lowest single-round score by a Greyhound this fall.

Mast (75-66-72) would go on to share 10th place at -3, one shot back of
Keegan Bronnenberg. The reigning individual national champion carded scores of 69-71-72 finish at -4 in a three-way tie for seventh.

CJ Jones (73-71-76) tied for 30th place in the 78-man field, while
Cam Carroll (+8, T-44) and brother
Ian Carroll (+14, T58) rounded out the team scoring. Meanwhile, individual
Jacob Nickell (72-76-74) finished at +6 to tie for 39th.
