HIGHLY ANTICIPATED REMATCH
The Greyhounds and Prairie Stars met less than a month ago in the GLVC tournament championship match which saw UIndy claim a 2-0 win at Key Stadium. This marked the first time in program history the Hounds were able to claim both the GLVC regular season and tournament championships in the same year.

HOW THEY GOT HERE
Illinois Springfield, who is making its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance, brought home a 2-1 overtime victory over GLVC foe Maryville in the second round. The Prairie Stars were tabbed in ninth place in the GLVC preseason poll, and now sit with a 13-5-2 overall record and are just one of two GLVC teams still fighting towards a national championship.

As for UIndy, the Hounds had no problem taking down Cedarville 3-1 in their second round match at Key Stadium. This marks the second NCAA Tournament in a row the Greyhounds have made it to the third round.
