KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Dana Youssef of the University of Indianapolis women's soccer team has been selected to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Second Team, officials announced on Friday.
 
Youssef, who served as a key defender on a women's soccer squad that made an appearance in the second round of the NCAA Tournament this season, earns a spot on the second team after tallying a 4.00 grade point average (GPA) in Molecular Biology.

Appearing in 17 matches and notching 16 starts this year, she helped guide the Greyhounds on the back line to a third straight 10+ win season. 

Along with earning this prestigious honor, Dana has also collected other outstanding awards this season. Most notably, she was named the back-to-back GLVC Defensive Player of the Year while being both a D2CCA All-America Third Team selection and CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team selection.
