FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The UIndy track & field teams divided is forces this weekend, competing at both the Strive For Greatness Invite meet at Indiana Tech and the "GINA" Relays at Hillsdale College.

INDIANA TECH
The throwers highlighted the Hounds' performances at the Tech meet. Senior
Keeton Adams hit a provisional mark and season best in the shot put, placing second with a throw of 16.50 meters, while
Katrinia Hopkins won the women's shot with an outdoor PR and provo-worthy throw of 14.04 meters.

Hopkins also won the discus throw with a provisional toss of 45.69 meters. She was followed by
Zoe Pentecost, as her fourth-place throw of 42.99 meters set a new PR.

Senior
Brian Sales won his finals section in the 200 with a wind-aided time of 21.77, freshman
Ndubisi Eze cleared the two-meter mark in the high jump (2.02), and the versatile
Courtlin Kelly set a personal best in the 110 hurdles (15.26).

Shae Biddle and
Madelyn Miller also set PRs, with Biddle running the 800 in 2:19.91 and Miller the 1500 in 4:51.73.

HILLSDALE
UIndy also sent a select few distance runners to Hillsdale for the GINA Relay. Four Greyhounds competed at the annual meet, with three setting personal bests.

Both
Melissa Spencer and
Will Reid set PRs in the 3000-mter steeplechase, with Spencer crossing in 13th place in the women's race (11:03.48) and Reid placing 10th in the men's (9:27.37).

AJ Goecker and
Nathan Herbst placed 15th and 17th, respectively, with Goeker's time of 14:57.00 good for a PR.

The Greyhounds have one more tune-up on the schedule before the GLVC Outdoor Championships as the Grand Valley State Meet awaits April 30-May1.
