INDIANAPOLIS - The No. 14 UIndy men's lacrosse team (8-2, 8-2 GLVC) was once again honored both GLVC Player of the Week honors on Monday, the Great Lakes Valley Conference announced today. The conference once again nominated the duo of Drew Billig (Offensive) and Austin Barnett (Defensive) for the Greyhounds' win over No. 9 Lindenwood last week, the rematch favoring the Hounds on a final score of 11-9. Barnett now totals four Defensive Player of the Week honors from the conference in his career, his third this season. Billig garnered his second career away for the Hounds, both of them coming in April of the 2021 season. The Greyhounds will next play in the 2021 GLVC Men's Lacrosse Tournament in two weeks, the remainder of the regular season ending early due to COVID-19 protocols.
