LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association Wednesday announced the 2021 NFCA Division II All-Region teams. Greyhounds led the region with four All-Midwest honorees, including both halves of UIndy's stellar pitching duo of Hallie Waters and Kenzee Smith.
 
The awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association's eight regions with first and second-team selections. NFCA member coaches from each respective region voted on the teams, and all the honorees now become eligible for selection to the 2021 NFCA Division II All-America squads.
 
Waters and Smith both garnered All-Midwest First Team accolades from the coaches. Waters was recently named the GLC Pitcher of the Year, while Smith earned inclusion on the Schutt Sports/NFCA Division II National Player and Pitcher of the Year Top 30 list.
 
GLVC Player of the Year Gianni Iannantone and unanimous All-GLVC First Teamer Haylie Foster were also recognized by the NFCA Wednesday, appearing among the All-Midwest Second Team recipients. See below for the complete list All-Midwest Region selections.
