ALLENDALE, Mich. – The UIndy men's golf team hit the links for the first time this fall, competing at the Arendsen Invitational Sunday and Monday. The Greyhounds (291-300-279) took third place in the talented 12-team, all-Midwest field, led by a runner-up performance from reigning individual national-champ
Keegan Bronnenberg.

Both Bronnenberg and
Ian Carroll carded a final-round 67, helping the Hounds compile the the lowest single-round team score in the three-day tournament and elbow their way into the top three. Bronnenberg (70-71-67) grabbed all-tournament honors at five-under on the par-71 Meadows Golf Course, settling just one stroke back of medalist Charles Delong of host Grand Valley State.

Newcomer
CJ Jones (70-74-71) also earned a top-10 spot among some of the region's top competition. The Ball State transfer finished at +2, good for a share of eighth place.

Two-time GLVC Player of the Year
Oliver Mast (71-77-74) tied for 20th and Carroll (80-78-67) shared 25th, while sophomore
Noah Wolfe (80-90-83) made his UIndy lineup debut.

Meanwhile, UIndy sent another five-man team to Grand Valley. The Greyhound second quintet placed ninth and was led by 2021 All-American
Cam Carroll (75-72-68), who fired a third-round 68 to earn a share of eighth place.

UP NEXT
Another region-heavy field awaits the Hounds at the Doc Spragg Invitational in Findlay, Ohio Sep. 20-21. UIndy is the defending champion at the annual event and has won four of its last five tournaments at Findlay Country Club.
